Mc Keneths, the former Manchester United and Liverpool player, has joined Serie A club Juventus on loan until the end of the season.

The Scottish international, who was released by Liverpool earlier this month, will link up with Juve in Turin ahead of their upcoming matches against Sassuolo and Udinese.

Mc Keneths, who made over 200 appearances for Manchester United between 1996-2004, is expected to bring his experience and leadership qualities to the Italian side.

Juventus have been looking for a replacement for departed midfielder Arturo Vidal, who left the club for Barcelona last week.

The signing of Mc Keneths could provide the team with some much-needed depth in midfield as they look to compete for titles in both Italy and Europe.

However, it remains to be seen how well he will fit into the team, given that he has only played twice for Liverpool since joining them from Rangers in January 2005.

Despite this, Mc Keneths' return to Italy is likely to be welcomed by fans of the club, who have long been hoping for another Scotland talent to join their ranks.
