Romelu Lukaku has returned to Inter Milan on a season-long loan from Chelsea. The Belgian striker, who enjoyed a successful spell at the San Siro between 2019 and 2021, will wear the number 90 shirt this season. He was presented to the press on Friday afternoon.

"I am happy to be back," Lukaku said during his presentation. "It feels like coming home. I missed the fans, the stadium, everything about Inter."

The striker also revealed that he had spoken to Inter coach Simone Inzaghi before agreeing to return to the Nerazzurri. "We talked a lot, and I think we can do great things together," he added.

Lukaku's return is expected to strengthen Inter's attack, which struggled last season. The club finished fifth in Serie A and failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. With Lukaku's experience and goalscoring ability, Inzaghi hopes to challenge for the title again this year.

However, there are some challenges ahead. Lukaku's time at Chelsea has been disappointing so far, with many injuries and a lack of form. He will need to prove himself at Inter if he wants to regain his place in Roberto Martinez's Belgium national team.

Despite these challenges, Lukaku is confident about his future at Inter. "I know what it takes to win here," he said. "I will work hard every day to help this team succeed."
